HSSL 431 - General Administration of the Health Services and Senior Living Facility I 3 hours
Introduces the mission, values, organization, and strategies of nursing homes and other health services and senior living organizations and reviews their history and philosophy. Applies the concepts of management to the areas of staffing, governance, operations, and physical environment of the care in various facilities. Reviews the regulations for licensing, operating, and insuring various risks within the regulatory setting of the industry. Lab Fee: 5 ($60), for the Long-Term Membership fee (in ACHCA).
