COUN 578 - Behavioral Health and Wellness Counseling

Considers the dramatic shift taking place in the healthcare field as mental health treatments are increasingly being integrated into medical care.  Students examine how this shift supports the holistic approach to health and wellness that has long been advocated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Study is also given to how an integrated approach to clinical mental health counseling can address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals.
