COUN 572 - Clinical Practicum I

2 hours
Provides orientation to the field experience in both Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling, including placement procedures, professional behaviors and dispositions expected, and student evaluation requirements.  The course is designed as an experimental laboratory for the purpose of building basic counseling and interviewing skills.  Practice in applying skills will take place through simulations, role-playing, and video recordings.
Prerequisite(s): COUN 524 , COUN 537 , and COUN 556  (may be taken concurrently).
