COUN 553 - Group Counseling and Procedures

3 hours
Provides both theoretical and experiential understanding of group purpose, development, dynamics, theories, methods, skills, and other group approaches in a multicultural society.  Includes requirements for students to participate as members of a counseling group for a minimum of 10 clock hours over the course of one academic term.  Upon completion of this experience, students lead or co-lead a small group activity, approved by the program, for at least 5 clock hours. 
Prerequisite(s): COUN 556 .
